1) Igneous Rock
- magma + molten rock inside earth
- intrusive igneous (hardened inside earth)
- lava = molten rock outside earth
- extrusive igneous (hardens outside earth)
2) Sedimentary Rock
- sediment (particles of rocks & clay, mud, sand, gravel, boulders)
- layer washed down in water
- pressure from layers + weight of the water + time (1,000,000s years) = solid sedimentary rock
3) Metamorphic Rock
